The Hillshore is a freehold condominium at 290 and 292 Pasir Panjang Road, in District 5. It stands 450 metres from Haw Par Villa MRT station, about a 5 minute walk, at the western end of the Greater Southern Waterfront, where the move of port operations to Tuas Port frees about 1,000 hectares of land and 30 kilometres of southern coastline for housing, commerce and public waterfront. Singapore Science Park adjoins the site at the rear and Kent Ridge Park rises behind it. Site plan, facilities and the full particulars are on the Hillshore project information page.

Connectivity and Transport
Haw Par Villa MRT station is 450 metres away, about a 5 minute walk, and it is a Circle Line station. Circle Line Stage 6 opened for passenger service on 12 July 2026, adding Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road between HarbourFront and Marina Bay and completing the Circle Line loop. Every destination listed below is reached from Haw Par Villa on the Circle Line with no change of line.
The completed loop is what changed for this address. The three new stations sit between HarbourFront and Marina Bay, which puts the eastern half of the line within a single ride: Prince Edward Road is 7 stops and Marina Bay is 8. Westward the line runs the other way, to Kent Ridge, one stop away, and Holland Village at 4 stops.
For drivers, West Coast Highway runs parallel to Pasir Panjang Road on the seaward side and feeds the Ayer Rajah Expressway, the arterial route towards the Central Business District in one direction and Jurong in the other.
Circle Line stops from Haw Par Villa, in both directions:
- Kent Ridge, for National University Hospital and the National University of Singapore: 1 stop
- one-north: 2 stops
- Labrador Park, for Mapletree Business City and Alexandra Retail Centre: 2 stops
- HarbourFront, for VivoCity: 4 stops
- Holland Village: 4 stops
- Prince Edward Road: 7 stops
- Marina Bay: 8 stops
The Greater Southern Waterfront
The Greater Southern Waterfront is the redevelopment of Singapore’s southern coast, and this address sits at its western end. Consolidating port activities at Tuas Port frees about 1,000 hectares of land and 30 kilometres of coastline along that coast, which is the land the new housing, commercial space and waterfront promenade are planned on.
The former Keppel Golf Course. The site is planned for 10,000 new public and private homes, and it is the piece that starts the transformation rather than a later phase of it.
Pasir Panjang Terminal. Container operations here are to consolidate at Tuas Port by the 2040s. That matters for how a buyer reads the rest: the waterfront is a long programme, not a near-term amenity, and the dates are a decade rather than a year. The land nearest this address is freed after the terminal moves, not before it.

Nature and Greenery
Kent Ridge Park rises directly behind the site, and the coastal park network runs west from it along the shore. A 2.2 kilometre section of Pasir Panjang Park has opened along that shoreline, completing a continuous 17 kilometre walking and cycling route between Labrador Nature Park and West Coast Park. This is the green claim on this page that is already built rather than planned.
Thirteen parks across the southern region are to be enhanced and linked by curated trails, with HortPark, Labrador Nature Park and West Coast Park each becoming a destination park with its own recreational programme.
Inland, the Southern Ridges chain runs behind the coast through Telok Blangah Hill Park, with its elevated walkway through the forest canopy, across Henderson Waves and on to Mount Faber.

Recreation Along the Coast
West Coast Park is the largest recreational ground on this stretch of coast and is the western anchor of the park route above. Eastward along the same shoreline are Labrador Nature Park, Mount Faber and the crossings to Sentosa, where One°15 Marina Sentosa Cove sits on the island’s eastern side.

Dining and Retail
Daily shopping and eating sit on the Circle Line rather than on the doorstep, and the two nearest malls are two and four stops out.
Alexandra Retail Centre is at Labrador Park, 2 stops, alongside Mapletree Business City.
VivoCity is at HarbourFront, 4 stops, and Holland Village is 4 stops the other way.
The Star Vista is at Buona Vista, further along the same line towards Holland Village.
Pasir Panjang Food Centre is the hawker option on this stretch of Pasir Panjang Road, and Gillman Barracks holds galleries and restaurants in the former barracks buildings towards Alexandra Road.
Business Districts and Education
Business districts and employment. Singapore Science Park adjoins the site at the rear, which is the closest employment centre to the development and needs no train at all. one-north is 2 stops and Mapletree Business City is at Labrador Park, also 2 stops. The Central Business District is reached on the same line without changing, at Prince Edward Road 7 stops out and Marina Bay 8. Jurong Lake District, the second commercial centre planned for the west, sits on the other side of the island from this corridor.
Education. Kent Ridge is one stop away, and both the National University of Singapore and National University Hospital are served from it. Singapore Polytechnic and Anglo-Chinese Junior College sit in the Dover Road area to the north of Pasir Panjang Road.
How to check a school properly. Priority registration for primary schools is decided on straight-line distance from the home, not on drive time, and a car journey of a few minutes can still fall outside the radius. Measure it for the specific unit on the Ministry of Education’s own school finder before it becomes a reason to buy.
The Development at This Address
The Hillshore is 59 freehold homes in 2 blocks of 5 storeys at 290 and 292 Pasir Panjang Road, developed by Hillside View Development Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of FRX Capital Private Limited, with expected TOP on 30 Jun 2027.
Layouts and sizes are set out on the Hillshore floor plan page. The show gallery is at Prince Charles Crescent, opposite The Crest, rather than at the development, so a visit settles scale, materials, ceiling height and finish, and appointments are arranged on the Hillshore showflat page.
